Blue & Gold

Project 30-Day 15.

On Tuesday, we had Pack Meeting for my son in Cub Scouts. It was the Blue and Gold Banquet.  They did a cake decorating contest and we ate them for dessert. We could pick the theme of our cake: camping, birthday, or cub scouts. My son picked camping. Here is a photo of our cake: 

Here is a photo of another cake one of the mom's did. I loved it! The people cutting the cakes didn't want to cut it because it was so cool.

My son got his Bear award that night. So here is a photo of the two of us.

And, this is a close-up of the bear paw on his cheek. The cub master painted it on as a symbol of him getting his bear award. He was so proud of himself, and I was so proud of him, too!
