Head Kerchiefs & Pink Cupcakes

Project 30 - Days 23 & 24

So, I got the book Simple Sewing For Baby by Lotta Jansdotter. This book is full of cute things you can make for your baby. It truly has simple sewing in it. My favorite was the cute kerchiefs in there. I have wanted to make them for a while for my girls, but didn't find the time until yesterday. I think they turned out darling! I just used leftover material from other projects. Oh, and with her pattern you tie it in back. Instead of this, I added some cute stretchy lace so that my girls could just slip it over their heads and I won't tie their hair into it. (Not that I have ever accidentally tied my girls hair into a headband. LOL!) Anyway, here is a photo of them.

And, my oldest in hers. The material I used is leftovers from the skirt I made for her a few weeks ago.

And, on to the cupcakes. I was talking to my neighbor today. She told me that her kids were sick. Her husband was sick. And, she was even sick. They have been to the doctor everyday for the past 3 days. I offered to make chicken soup for them for dinner. I decided to make cupcakes for dessert. So, here is a photo of the cupcakes. Cute, huh?
